Sunitinib is a multi-kinase inhibitor. It’s used for treating renal cell carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and neuroendocrine tumors in the pancreas. It goes after several kinases, like VEGFR, PDGFR, and a few others.
You can get Sunitinib in capsules, coming in 12.5 mg, 25 mg, or 50 mg doses. For adults, the go-to dose is 50 mg, taken every day for a 4-week stretch, then you take a break for 2 weeks. Each bottle has 28 capsules, which is enough for one full cycle.
