Olaparib is a PARP inhibitor. It’s used to treat ovarian, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers that have a BRCA mutation. It stops cancer cells from fixing their DNA.
You can get it in 100 mg or 150 mg tablet strengths, both with a film coat. The usual dose is 300 mg, taken twice a day. You can take it with or without eating.
The tablets come in bottles, with 60 in each. You should take these tablets just the way your doctor tells you to.
