Momelotinib is a medication used to treat myelofibrosis with anemia, a type of blood cancer that causes the bone marrow to produce too many blood cells, leading to spleen enlargement and symptoms of anemia. It’s called a JAK1/2 inhibitor, which blocks those enzymes that cause inflammation. By blocking those enzymes, it can help shrink your spleen and reduce inflammation.
This helps relieve symptoms and makes your life better. You’re supposed to take 200 mg of momelotinib every day. You can get it in tablets that are 100 mg or 200 mg.
Each bottle has 30 pills.
