Entrectinib is a TRK/ROS1/ALK inhibitor used to treat NTRK-fusion-positive solid tumors and ROS1-positive NSCLC. It blocks lots of kinases and comes in 100 mg and 200 mg pill versions. The suggested dose is 600 mg per day, either with or without food.
Each bottle has 30 pills. It works by hooking onto and slowing down the TRK, ROS1, and ALK kinases that help cancer cells grow and spread. Research shows it can fight cancer for patients with NTRK-fusion-positive tumors or ROS1-positive lung cancer, which helps tumors shrink and survival rates improve.
You might feel tired, sick, throw up, have trouble pooping, feel dizzy, or notice your sense of taste changes. Keep an eye out for these and other not-so-nice side effects while you’re on it.
