Regorafenib is a drug that helps treat advanced colorectal cancer, a type of stomach cancer called GIST, and liver cancer. It’s part of a group of drugs called multi-kinase inhibitors. These inhibitors focus on stopping several kinases that help tumors grow and blood vessels form.
It blocks VEGFR, TIE2, and some other kinases, to be exact. The pills have a coating and are available in 40 mg doses. Doctors usually advise adults to take 160 mg of the stuff every day for three weeks out of every four.
The bottles come with 84 pills each.
