Osimertinib is an EGFR inhibitor. It’s used to treat lung cancer, like NSCLC, in people with certain EGFR mutations, especially the T790M one. It’s made to stop the mutated EGFR from working.
You get the drug in two sizes: 40 mg and 80 mg, both as coated tablets. The doc usually suggests you take 80 mg a day, and you can do it with or without eating. Each bottle’s got 30 tablets, which is a whole month’s worth if you’re taking it as prescribed.
