Eltrombopag? It’s a treatment for a low platelet count in ITP and chronic hepatitis C. It’s a TPO receptor agonist. The drug is meant to get those platelets making more of themselves.
You can get it in three strengths: 25mg, 50mg, and 75mg, all in tablet form. For adults, they usually suggest 50mg once a day, but it’s best on an empty stomach. They come in bottles with 30 tablets each.
