Capivasertib is an AKT inhibitor used in the treatment of HR /HER2breast cancer, particularly in cases with PIK3CA/AKT1/PTEN alterations. It’s made to stop AKT signaling. You can get this drug in two doses: 200 mg and 400 mg tablets.
The usual dose is 400 mg, taken two times a day. You take it for 4 days then take a break for 3 days. Each bottle has 64 tablets, making it easy for patients to take their meds.
