Futibatinib is made to treat cholangiocarcinoma, which is a kind of liver cancer. It mainly helps when there are FGFR2 fusions in the cancer. The way Futibatinib works is by stopping the fibroblast growth factor receptor, or FGFR, from sending signals.
You can get it as 4 mg tablets. They usually recommend 20 mg a day, taken just once. Each bottle holds 28 of those tablets, so that’s a full month’s worth at the suggested dose.
