Selpercatinib is a special kind of medicine that targets the RET protein. It’s used for certain types of lung cancer, thyroid cancer, and other cancers with RET changes. It works by stopping the RET kinase from doing its thing.
You can get it in 40 mg or 80 mg doses. The usual amount is 160 mg, taken two times a day. You can take it with or without eating.
