Alectinib is a drug used to treat a specific kind of lung cancer called ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer. It’s part of a group of drugs called ALK inhibitors, which work by stopping the ALK signal. You can get it in 150 mg capsule form.
The usual dose is 600 mg, taken twice a day, and it’s best with food. It comes in bottles with 240 capsules each. The drug works by interrupting the signals that help cancer cells grow and live.
