Valganciclovir is an antiviral. It’s used to treat CMV retinitis and prevent it in transplant patients. It works by stopping the virus from making more DNA.
You can get it in 450 mg tablets that have a coating. You’re supposed to take 900 mg, once or twice a day, with food. Each bottle has 60 tablets.
