Anagrelide is a med used mainly for essential thrombocythemia. It’s a condition where platelet levels are way too high. It works by slowing down the maturation of megakaryocytes, which are these cells that make platelets.
You can get this med in 0.5 mg capsule doses. Most adults take it four times a day, 0.5 mg a pop, and the doc might tweak the dose if you feel off or if something doesn’t sit right. Each bottle has 100 caps in it.
