Sorafenib is a type of kinase inhibitor that focuses on VEGFR, PDGFR, and RAF kinases. It’s used for advanced RCC, non-resectable HCC, and thyroid cancer that doesn’t respond to radioactive iodine. You take it twice a day, 400 mg each time, for a total of 800 mg a day, and it’s best on an empty stomach.
The tablets come in a 200 mg strength, with a film coating. Each bottle has 120 tablets in it.
