Capmatinib is a special kind of drug that zeroes in on something called MET, helping with a type of lung cancer that has MET exon 14 skipping mutations. It’s basically made to block the MET kinase to help stop tumors from growing. The drug comes in pills and you can get them in 150 mg and 200 mg doses.
The recommended amount is 400 mg, and you take it two times a day—you can eat before taking it or not, it’s up to you. Each batch of treatment comes in bottles with 60 of these pills.
