Olaparib is a PARP inhibitor. It’s used to treat ovarian, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers that have BRCA mutations. It stops cancer cells from fixing their DNA.
The drug comes in two strengths: 100 mg and 150 mg, and they’re coated with a film. Doctors usually recommend adults take 300 mg twice a day, and it doesn’t matter if you take it with or without food. The tablets come in bottles with 60 pills in each.
