Vemurafenib is an oral med used for certain kinds of melanoma that have a BRAF V600E mutation. It works by keeping the BRAF protein from doing its thing, which in turn stops cancer cells from growing. The tablets are coated and they come in 240 mg doses.
The recommended dosing is 960 mg (four 240 mg tablets) taken twice daily, which can be taken with or without food. It comes in bottles with 112 coated tablets.
