Quizartinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s made to treat AML that comes back or doesn’t respond to other treatments, especially if it has FLT3-ITD mutations. It works by stopping FLT3 signaling, which is super important for cancer cell growth.
You can get Quizartinib in tablets, either 17.7 mg or 26.5 mg ones. After you start with it, the dose is usually 53 mg, taken just once a day. It comes in bottles with 28 tablets each, which is really convenient for dosing and makes sure patients take it right.
