Dabrafenib is a BRAF kinase inhibitor. It’s used to treat BRAF V600E/K-mutant melanoma and NSCLC. You can get it in 50 mg and 75 mg capsules.
You’re supposed to take 150 mg, twice a day on an empty stomach, if that’s what the doc says. Each bottle contains 120 capsules, and the medication is available in two dosages. It’s a targeted treatment to stop the BRAF protein from doing what it shouldn’t be doing in some cancer cells.
Make sure to talk to a healthcare provider about the right dose and how to take dabrafenib.
