Selumetinib is an MEK inhibitor. It’s for treating type 1 neurofibromatosis patients who have symptomatic plexiform neurofibromas. It goes after the MEK signaling pathway.
You can get it in two doses—10 mg or 25 mg—and it comes in capsule form. For adults, it’s usually 25 mg, taken twice a day on an empty stomach. You should space each dose 12 hours apart.
These capsules come in bottles with 60 in each.
