This drug, mobocertinib, is designed to work on a specific part of cancer cells that grow in a type of lung cancer called NSCLC and often come with a certain kind of genetic change. It does its job by sticking to this part and stopping the cancer cells from growing. You take it as capsules, each with 40 milligrams of the medicine.
Doctors usually tell people to take 160 milligrams of the stuff once a day, either with or without a meal. One bottle has 90 capsules. It’s easy to take because that’s a lot.
You’ve gotta take it just how your doctor says, and they might tweak it based on how your body handles it.
