Selpercatinib is a special kind of medicine that targets a protein called RET. It’s used for certain lung cancers, thyroid cancers, and other types of tumors that have RET changes. It stops the RET protein from doing its thing.
You can get it in two strengths: 40 mg or 80 mg in a capsule. The usual amount is 160 mg taken twice a day. You can take this pill with or without eating.
It comes in bottles with 60 capsules in each.
