This thing called lorlatinib? It’s a fancy third-gen drug that targets something called ALK and ROS1. It’s given to folks who’ve got this tough-to-treat type of lung cancer after they’ve already tried other ALK treatments. Lorlatinib does its job by going after those ALK and ROS1 kinases and trying to stop tumor growth.
You can get this medication in 25 mg and 100 mg doses, both as those coated pills. You’re supposed to take a 100 mg tablet every day, no matter when you eat. These tablets come in bottles with 30 tablets in each.
