Dacomitinib is a type of medicine for a type of lung cancer known as NSCLC. It’s meant for people who have certain genetic changes called EGFR exon 19 deletions or the L858R mutation. It works by stopping a pathway in the body that’s important for how NSCLC grows.
You can get this drug in different strengths. They’re tablets, and they come in 15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg sizes. The usual amount for grown-ups is 45 mg, and they take it every day.
Each bottle has 30 of these tablets for each dose.
