Anagrelide is used to lower platelet counts in people with essential thrombocythemia. It stops the maturation of megakaryocytes. It comes in 0.5 mg capsules.
You’re supposed to take it 0.5 mg, four times a day, and adjust as you go along. The capsules come in bottles with 100 capsules each. They use it to treat essential thrombocythemia by cutting down on platelet counts.
