Dacomitinib is an EGFR inhibitor. It’s especially made for treating NSCLC. The drug is meant for people who have either an EGFR exon 19 deletion or the L858R mutation.
It stops EGFR signaling. You can get it in tablets that are coated with a film. They come in 15, 30, or 45 mg strengths.
The suggested dose is 45 mg and you take it just once each day. Each pack comes in a bottle with 30 tablets in it.
