Capmatinib is a special kind of drug called a MET inhibitor, made just for treating a certain type of lung cancer that spreads. It’s designed for people with NSCLC and specific mutations in the MET gene. So, it works by specifically targeting a part called the MET kinase to stop cancer cells from growing.
You can get it in tablets that are either 150 mg or 200 mg. The docs usually suggest taking 400 mg of this stuff two times a day, and it doesn’t matter if you take it with or without meals. It comes in bottles with 60 tablets in each one.
