So, mobocertinib’s job is to stop something called the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in its tracks. It’s used to treat a type of lung cancer called NSCLC that has a specific kind of mutation in the EGFR, specifically in exon 20. How it works is, it sticks to this EGFR and stops tumors from growing.
You can get mobocertinib as 40 mg capsules. The doc usually says to take 160 mg of this stuff every day. You can pop it with or without eating anything.
It comes in bottles with 90 capsules in each one.
