This drug, called dabrafenib, is used to tackle BRAF V600E/K-mutation melanoma and certain types of lung cancer known as NSCLC. It blocks this thing called the BRAF kinase – this is a protein all about letting cells grow and split up. You got dabrafenib in doses: one of these littlees come in 50mg, and the bigger ones are 75mg.
You’ll take them on an empty belly. The go-to dosing is 150 mg, taken two times a day. So, that means popping either three 50mgs or just two of those bigger 75mgs pills.
