Aprocitentan is a type of drug called an endothelin receptor antagonist. It’s used specifically to treat high blood pressure that doesn’t respond to other treatments. It’s designed to work by helping to relax the blood vessels, which then reduces the narrowing and helps lower blood pressure.
The drug is available in 12.5 mg tablet form and the recommended dose is 12.5 mg taken once daily. One bottle usually has 30 tablets of the medicine in it.
