Sunitinib is a medicine that helps treat RCC, GIST, and NET in the pancreas. Sunitinib stops several kinases from working, like VEGFR and PDGFR. You can get sunitinib in 3 strengths: 12.5 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg.
They come in pill form. For adults, the usual dose is 50 mg a day, taken once daily, for 4 weeks out of every 6-week treatment period. These come in bottles, each with 28 pills.
