Osimertinib is made to target that T790M mutation in the EGFR. It’s mainly for people with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. It’s available in 40 mg and 80 mg doses, but the usual one is 80 mg, taken every day.
You can take the tablets whether you’ve eaten or not. Each bottle has 30 of those film-coated pills. It goes after those EGFR mutations and is a big deal for NSCLC patients who’ve tried and failed with other EGFR TKIs before.
