Venetoclax is a BCL-2 inhibitor. It’s used to treat two types of cancer: chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. It helps cancer cells die off by causing apoptosis.
You can get it in three strengths: 10 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg. They’re all coated for easier swallowing. For CLL, you start with a low dose and gradually increase it to 400 mg, taken every day with meals.
The tablets come in bottles, and each one has 120 tablets.
