Capmatinib is a drug used for treating advanced NSCLC with a certain genetic change called MET exon 14 skipping mutations. This MET inhibitor is like a laser beam that zeros in on an enzyme called MET kinase, which helps cancer cells grow. It comes in two doses, 150 mg and 200 mg, and you take it as a coated pill.
The usual dose is 400 mg, taken two times a day, with or without food—it’s up to you. Each bottle holds 60 tablets.
