Aprocitentan is an endothelin receptor antagonist. It’s mainly used for treating resistant hypertension, a condition where your blood pressure doesn’t respond to regular blood pressure meds. Aprocitentan works by reducing vasoconstriction, which in turn helps lower your blood pressure.
You get it in 12.5 mg tablet form. The usual dose is 12.5 mg, taken just once a day. Each bottle has 30 tablets, so it’s easy to keep up with your routine.
Since it works in a certain way, it’s usually pretty well-tolerated. Just remember, you gotta take it exactly as your doc tells you to.
