Quizartinib is a FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used for acute myeloid leukemia that’s come back or doesn’t respond to treatment, especially when there’s a FLT3-ITD mutation. It works by stopping FLT3 signaling.
It comes in two tablet sizes—17.7 mg and 26.5 mg, both in a film-coated form. After starting, the usual dose is 53 mg, taken just once each day. The tablets come in bottles with 28 tablets inside.
