Mavacamten is a drug that blocks a protein in the heart for a condition called obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It’s used to make the heart’s pumping strength lower. There are four doses of Mavacamten: 2.5, 5, 10, and 15 mg in capsule form.
You usually start with 5 mg once a day, but the doc might change it depending on your specific situation. The caps come in bottles with 30 in each pack.
