Anagrelide is a med used for a condition called essential thrombocythemia. This condition is when you’ve got too many platelets. It works by stopping megakaryocytes from maturing.
This cuts down on platelet production in your bone marrow. You can get this drug in 0.5 mg capsule form. The usual dose is 0.5 mg, four times a day.
Your doc might tweak it if needed. These capsules come in bottles with 100 capsules in each one.
