Alectinib is a type of inhibitor that targets the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK). It’s used to treat a specific kind of lung cancer that’s caused by ALK. It works by keeping the ALK from sending out signals.
You can get Alectinib in 150 mg capsules. The usual dose is 600 mg, taken twice a day with meals. The capsules come in bottles with 240 of them.
The main goal of the treatment is to stop ALK so it doesn’t make cancer cells grow and spread.
