Eltrombopag is a TPO receptor agonist. It’s used to treat thrombocytopenia. That’s a low platelet count thing in people with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura or Chronic Hepatitis C.
The thing comes in different doses – 25, 50, or 75 milligrams, all as tablets with a coating. The usual go-to dose is 50 milligrams once every day, but you need to take it on an empty belly. You’ll get the stuff in bottles with 30 tablets each.
