The drug’s purpose is to help your liver with fat processing. You can get this as a tablet, and the tablets are 80 mg each. You’re supposed to take just one of these 80 mg tablets a day.
Each pack comes with a bottle that holds 30 tablets. Resmetirom sticks to this thing called PPARβ/δ. It’s a nuclear receptor that’s super important for fat metabolism.
It makes the PPARβ/δ do its thing, which means it helps get rid of triglycerides from the liver and keeps your fat and sugar levels balanced.
