Entrectinib is a targeted therapy. It works by stopping specific protein kinases. These are mainly the ones that help cancer cells grow and survive.
It’s used to treat certain solid tumors that have NTRK fusions and ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer. The main ingredient does a double duty. It blocks TRK, ROS1, and ALK.
It targets the cancer-causing activity of NTRK1, NTRK2, NTRK3, ROS1, and ALK fusions. You can get Entrectinib in two sizes—100 mg and 200 mg capsules. For adults and teens 12 and up who weigh at least 45 kg, the recommended dose is 600 mg a day.
You can take it with or without food. Each bottle comes with 30 capsules.
