Ceritinib is an ALK inhibitor. It’s used to treat NSCLC that tests positive for ALK. It goes after the ALK signaling pathway.
You’re supposed to take 450 mg of it, every day with food. You can get Ceritinib in 150 mg capsules. There are 70 of ’em in one bottle.
The real thing in Ceritinib is what stops the ALK tyrosine kinase. That’s the stuff often found in cancer cells. You should take it with food so it soaks up better.
Don’t chew or crush those capsules. Just swall them whole. You gotta keep to the dose, and don’t quit cold turkey without a doc’s say-so.
Keep an eye on any side effects, and make sure this treatment is working.
