Futibatinib is a new kind of FGFR inhibitor. It goes after cholangiocarcinoma tumors that have FGFR2 fusions. Its job is to stop FGFR signaling.
It comes as a tablet and each one weighs 4 milligrams. You’re supposed to take 20 milligrams a day, which is 5 of those tablets. The tablets come in bottles with 28 in each.
That’s about 1.3 weeks worth, if you’re taking the full 20 mg dose every day. So, the cost of one bottle should take care of about three weeks’ worth of your dose.
