Alpelisib is a PI3K inhibitor used in the treatment of HR /HER2breast cancer characterized by PIK3CA mutations. It works by aiming at the PI3K signaling pathway, which is really important for how cancer cells grow and multiply. You can get it in tablets with three different strengths: 50, 200, and 300 milligrams.
The usual dose is 300 milligrams a day, best to take with food. The tablets come in packs with 28 doses each, so it makes a one-month supply easy to handle.
