Dacomitinib is an EGFR inhibitor. It’s used in NSCLC, especially for patients who have either an EGFR exon 19 deletion or the L858R mutation. The drug works by blocking those EGFR signals that make tumors grow and spread.
You can get this drug in 3 doses — 15 mg, 30 mg, or 45 mg, all as film-coated tablets. The recommended dose for NSCLC is 45 mg once daily, and each tablet must be taken as directed by a healthcare professional. The tablets come in bottles with 30 in each one.
