Asciminib is a BCR-ABL inhibitor. It’s used for CML, especially when other treatments haven’t worked. It zeroes in on this thing called the ABL myristoyl pocket, which is a key player in cancer cell growth.
You can get Asciminib in two doses—20 mg and 40 mg—and they come as coated pills. You’re supposed to take 80 mg a day. You can take one big 80 mg pill or two 40 mg ones.
The drug comes in bottles, each with 60 tablets.
