Venetoclax is a BCL-2 inhibitor. It’s used for treating Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It helps cancer cells die off in a controlled way.
You can get this drug in tablets, coming in 10, 50, and 100 mg doses. You usually start with 100 mg twice a day and might go up to 400 mg once a day for CLL. It’s best taken with food.
It can be taken with or without food, just see what works best for you. The tablets come in bottles with 120 pills each. Venetoclax is like a copycat that goes after the BCL-2 protein in cancer cells.
