Vemurafenib is a BRAF inhibitor. It’s used to treat melanoma when the BRAF V600E mutation is present. It works by stopping the BRAF signaling pathway from happening.
You can get the drug in tablet form, with each one having 240 milligrams of the good stuff. You’re supposed to take 960 milligrams of this stuff twice a day. It doesn’t matter if you eat or not.
The tablets come in bottles with 112 of them inside. Vemurafenib is a tiny little thing that zeroes in on that BRAF V600E thing that melanoma cells often have.
