It’s a BRAF inhibitor, mainly for folks with melanoma caused by the BRAF V600E mutation. This drug comes in tablet form and each one’s got 240 milligrams of the key stuff. The usual dose is 960 milligrams a day—two 240 milligram tablets, and that’s twice a day.
You can take the med with or without eating. Each 112-tablet bottle’ll last you a month because it’s 2,688 milligrams altogether. But, it’s not a miracle drug.
It’s meant to slow down the growth and help people with that mutation live a little longer.
